Our weekend hotel accommodations for our daughter’s surprise 6th birthday trip to Disney was a newly renovated studio at the Hilton Grand Vacations Club at SeaWorld. Our daughter was surprised when she walked into the room to find it adorned in birthday decorations complete with everything a little girl would need to celebrate her birthday like a Disney Princess.
The Room
A three-night stay with a busy six-year-old call for a spacious room with amenities that will make the stay run smoothly and offer a level of convenience. We loved the studio at the Hilton Grand Vacations Club at SeaWorld due to its kitchenette. Although it was not a full kitchen, the mini fridge allowed us to store some of our favorite snacks, beverages, and leftovers, and the microwave was perfect for reheating leftovers when we did not want to dine out. Also, offered for convenience were plates, drinkware, utensils, and a coffee maker.
The bathroom of our studio at the Hilton Grand Vacations Club at SeaWorld was clean and well-lit. It was big enough for two adults to be in there at the same time. It featured a soaking tub/shower combo. I loved seeing toiletry items from the luxury skincare brand, Peter Thomas Roth. After spending hours having fun in the sun, the citrus shower gel made showers right before bed a bit more relaxing, allowing us to sink right into the large king-sized bed. I had some of my best sleep there.
The room also had an enclosed balcony with views of the gorgeous grounds, and we were even able to spot the Mazda3 we had for the weekend. On the balcony, we spent mornings and afternoons sipping on my free Starbucks coffee from the provisions market while we ate our breakfast or lunch in Florida’s warm sun.
Our room was located on the fifth floor of the Hilton Grand Vacations Club at SeaWorld, and away from the high traffic area of the elevator; however, it was an adjoined room, which meant we could hear our very noisy neighbors next door. Don’t get me wrong, connecting rooms are perfect for large families, but for us, it was a bit of a nuisance since we could hear everything the family in the room was saying, and they did a lot of their talking in the evening when we were settling down.
Fun in the Sun
We made this trip to Orlando to visit Disney’s Magic Kingdom, but once our daughter spotted the pools she was not interested in going anywhere other than to the pool. This girl had a crying fit the day after we checked-in when she found out we had a surprise for her (Magic Kingdom) that was not a day at the pool. However, the day after we spent a day at Disney, she woke up, put on her bathing suit determined to spend the day splish splashing in one of the Hilton Grand Vacations Club at SeaWorld’s many pools.
The hotel boasts three heated swimming pools, two children’s pools, and five whirlpool spas. Honestly, Disney can wear you out so a day just lounging poolside was what we all needed.
The pool area is massive with lots of fun activities for parents and children. There’s also the Coral Reef Pool Bar & Grille, conveniently located steps away from the pools.
Family-friendly Accommodations at the Hilton Grand Vacations Club at SeaWorld
The Hilton Grand Vacations Club at SeaWorld with over 500 units has a room for every family whether large or small. There are cozy studios, and spacious one-, two- and three-bedroom suites. All of which offer the convenience of home with full kitchens or kitchenettes. Some are even equipped with a washer and dryer. As parents, we know how important it is to have a washer and dryer around even while on vacation when we have little ones. This is a place we would choose to stay time and time again! It’s conveniently located across from SeaWorld, and within a 10-15 minute drive to Walt Disney World. We can’t wait for our next visit.

She loved the birthday princess sash and tiara; she wore them the entire trip. The coloring book kept her busy during our car rides, and of course, she loved those delicious chocolate chip cookies.
