Spread the love

One of the reasons Beauty and the Bump loves to travel is to take a break from our sometimes-hectic lives. Whether it is a weekend or a week we understand the importance of having the freedom of veering away from our daily routines because frankly, sometimes “It’s Good Not to Be Home”. Hyatt Regency understands this too, and wanted to find ways to make travelers experiences and stays at Hyatt Regency properties better.

With one simple questions asked this fall Hyatt Regency was able to use the answers to this question to bring forth innovative, and fun experiences for their travelers. To bring these ideas to life, personal trainer Gunnar Peterson and James Beard Award-winning pastry chef and Cronut® creator Dominique Ansel were used to create an in-room food and fitness routine.

For the fashionistas and décor aficionados, fashion designer Cynthia Rowley (love her items), along with tech mogul and businesswoman Randi Zuckerberg to create an on-the-go beauty bar. The latter definitely speaks to me, as I am all about beauty.

These new experiences were debuted at the Hyatt Regency’s Jersey City property where media was able to see Gunnar’s in-room fitness routines in action, and receive complimentary manicures at the Cynthia Rowley/Randi Zuckerberg beauty bar.

The Hyatt Regency “It’s Good Not to Be Home” campaign is in its second year, and is aimed at both consumers and meeting planners, and includes TV, digital, out of home and print media, and social media support, as well as in-hotel activations.  These ideas dreamed up by business travelers through this campaign will be used for inspiration for future Hyatt Regency experiences and amenities.

I don’t know about you, but I am excited to see what improvements the Hyatt Regency comes up with next! Now, I am dreaming about having a service completed at the on-the-go beauty bar.

I will end this post with one question: How can your travel get better?
