Personalized vitamin subscription services, like Care/of vitamins, have been popping up everywhere. By taking the guesswork out of shopping for a supplement that suits your needs and lifestyle, they provide convenience for busy people. It’s no wonder why they’re popular among moms. While Care/Of was not my first rodeo with a health and wellness supplement subscription, I was intrigued by its personalization level.

What is the Care/of vitamins subscription?

Care/of is a personalized vitamin subscription service that delivers a monthly supply of supplements right to your door. The company offers a wide variety of health and wellness supplements geared toward adults and provides recommendations based on your answers to an online questionnaire. This is because the brand recognizes that a one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t work when it comes to supplements. Everyone’s needs are different.

How does Care/of personalize your supplements?

The supplements are personalized based on the needs you tell Care/of through the 5-minute questionnaire. For me, a breastfeeding mom who works full-time from home and takes care of a toddler, and is vegetarian, I needed something that would give me energy, and supplement the protein. Plus, overall, I like to maintain good health. Based on my responses, Care/of designed a customized plan with vitamins, natural supplements, powders, immunity boosters, and more to help you achieve your goals.

Care/of quiz

What is the quiz like?

The quiz isn’t anything too cumbersome. It asks for your name, age, and general knowledge and interest in vitamins. It also asks you about the health goals you’re trying to achieve as it pertains to general health and wellness, a specific need like you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, or stressed, or if you’re just looking to try something new.

You can choose which areas you want help with: sleep, energy, fitness, hair, nails, and digestion. There are many options. As a busy mom, there was so much I needed help with, my hair thinning from having a baby and my nails not doing well, and then the lack of sleep. I honestly wanted to choose everything. But, adding supplements with this 30-day subscription service can get expensive.

Some of the questions you can expect to answer relate to the following:

  • Stress and anxiety
  • Whether you’re trying to conceive, pregnant, or breastfeeding
  • If you’re trying to improve your sex life
  • Energy levels
  • Fitness goals

Believe it or not, the quiz is helpful in Care/of developing a personalized list of recommendations that include any of the following:

  • Vitamins
  • Natural supplements
  • Powders (various protein sources like plant and whey)
  • Quick Sticks (one-shot, drinkable powders for better sleep, energy, digestion, etc.)

Click here to take the quiz. It doesn’t lock you into anything.

What I like about Care/of

What I like about Care/of

I’ve been using Care/of for a few months now. What I enjoy most is that the service truly feels personalized. From the vitamin packaging that has my name to the variety of available supplements for me to choose from based on the responses to my question. It wasn’t like a previous subscription service with one vitamin and one protein powder for every post-partum, breastfeeding mom. I also enjoy that I have the option of getting the entire recommended routine or deleting a few items I don’t really want, which brings down the cost too.

I feel the difference

When I stopped taking the supplements for a few days either from running out or simply forgetting, my energy levels declined.

Care/of vegan protein powder

A plant protein powder that tastes good

  • The vanilla plant protein powder tastes good! It has a slightly nutty flavor with a hint of cinnamon. I like that it isn’t grainy and blends easily unlike other vegan protein powders I have tried. I usually mix it with
  • coconut water
  • oat milk
  • peanut butter
  • avocado
  • banana

Earn Care/of Carrots

You can earn carrots

The brand makes it easy to earn rewards, which they call ‘carrots’. You can earn carrots by taking a monthly quiz, referrals, and checking in on the app that you’ve taken your vitamins/supplements. the carrots can be redeemed to earn a free month, can be used towards products, to donate toward a cause and more.

Care/of vitamin pack

What I don’t like about Care/of

Taking pills doesn’t bother me, but due to the number of supplements that can be selected – I have six- you’re taking a lot at one time. If you’re pill adverse, then this isn’t for you. Personally, when I am looking for a vitamin, I prefer to have to take one once per day. However, the prenatal, multivitamin, and omega-3 supplements are two pills daily.

Previously, I briefly mentioned that vitamins and supplements pack can get expensive. Right now, It costs $45 for a pack that contains calcium, collagen, iron, and omega-3s. The vanilla plant protein costs $28 for a 19.57 oz tub. Unless I use carrots or remove something I don’t feel I need to reduce the cost, my monthly plan will cost me nearly $80. It’s still less than the other service I was using.

Should you subscribe to Care/of?
