We now have a seven-year-old! Time sure does fly when you are having fun experiencing different places and things. This year, although we did not travel for our daughter’s birthday, we did host a Mermaid-themed birthday party for her at Goldfish Swim School – Farmingdale.

Happy 7th Mermaid Birthday at Goldfish Swim School Farmingdale

We chose Goldfish Swim School as the location for her birthday party because it was the perfect setting for a Mermaid theme. Her birthday, although is in the spring, the weather in New York has not been on the warmer side; therefore, having an indoor pool party where the water is always kept at a warm 90 degrees was optimal. Plus, it was a familiar environment for my daughter since she takes swimming lessons (sponsored) at the Garden City location.

Planning a Goldfish Swim School Birthday Party is Easy and Stress-free

After her 5th birthday party, which took place at my home, I vowed to never have a birthday party again. It took a lot of work from preparing for clean-up, and it was just stressful. Goldfish Swim School takes the stress out of birthday party planning. They provide mostly everything needed, such as:

  • 25 Invitations + Envelopes
  • Tablecloths
  • Paper Products (Plates + Napkins)
  • Utensils
  • 24 Cupcakes
  • Juice boxes
  • Activities + pool toys and floaties

As you can see, a lot of what you would usually prepare and purchase for a birthday party is taken care of. Although they provided cupcakes, I did go ahead and have my cousin, owner of Cammies Cupcakes, make a beautiful and delicious Mermaid birthday cake.

I also got my DIY on and revamped a dollar store candle and made chocolate Mermaid tails for the mini candy bar. I used Avery labels to print tags for the goodie bags.

Pool Safety + Fun

During my daughter’s Mermaid-themed birthday party at Goldfish Swim School – Farmingdale, the kids and parents were able to enjoy 1 hour and 20-minutes of pool time playing with each other, the pool toys like the cool ride-on four-wheel floaty.

After they’ve worked up an appetite swimming they enjoyed pizza that we ordered from a local pizzeria. We had other snacks for the adults.

If you are worried about pool safety, don’t be. Goldfish Swim School’s specialty is pool safety. Two lifeguards were on-duty, and kid’s swimming abilities were assessed prior to entry into the pool. Kids who are unable to swim independently had parents in the water and were given life jackets.

A Goldfish Swim School Birthday Party is Affordable

A party for 24 children is priced at $675. A $200 deposit is required to secure the event date. As I mentioned earlier in this post, the price includes everything necessary for a birthday party, including a party coordinator. Ours was Katy.

The best part about my mini’s Mermaid-themed birthday party at Goldfish Swim School – Farmingdale was that once the party was done, everyone went home, and even though we did not have to stick around to clean, we did. We kind of felt bad for the staff left behind on a Sunday evening and wanted them to get home quicker.

Everyone enjoyed our daughter’s Goldfish Swim School birthday party. If we had to do it all over again, we would. If you are looking for a fun and unique place to host your child’s next birthday party check out Goldfish Swim School. The kids and parents will enjoy themselves and you will truly love the stress-free and care-free experience.

How Do You Think I did with My daughter’s Mermaid-Themed Birthday Party at Goldfish Swim School – Farmingdale?

Although I am a Goldfish Swim School partner, the party was paid for by me. My daughter receives complimentary swim lessons from the school.
