Summer is right around the corner! Here in New York City we’ve gotten a taste with a few hot days of 80 degree temperatures. Hopefully, the weather for the summer is reflective of those days and not the cold rainy ones we’ve been having lately because I love the summer. It’s the time for me to wear bold colors, less clothes, and of course less makeup.  Wearing less makeup, especially if your skin suffered during the colder months means modifying your skincare regimen to get your skin summer ready.

During hot days, especially during the summer months when it can also be humid, wearing heavy makeup is the last thing on my mind so I prepare my skin now, so that I can wear little to no makeup once the summer comes.  This time around, I’m getting my skin summer ready with Boots No7 Skincare.

Since I’ve started a new job, which has me waking up even earlier, I’ve been suffering from dark under eye circles.  I know there’s some moms out there who can relate. Due to this, I’ve incorporated the Boots No7 Beautiful Skin Dark Circle Corrector into my daily skincare routine. After cleansing my skin, and using the Boots No7 Beautiful Skin Toner, I apply the Boots No7 Beautiful Skin Dark Circle Corrector under my eyes. The tri-ball applicator is super soothing; I love the coolness of the metal rollerballs. Also, the color-correcting pigments help minimize the look of my dark circles, which means I can wear less concealer, and less work making myself look polished for the day ahead.

Cutting down the concealer is one thing, but what about the rest of my face, right? Between the cold weather, allergens in the air, and my monthly visit from aunt flow, my skin has been a mess! Because of these random breakouts I have some dark spots.  I’ve been using the Boots No7 Lift & Luminate Concentrated Dark Spot Serum to help diminish the appearance of dark spots.  I can report that after one month of use, the spots on my face have lightened.  They haven’t completely vanished, but, a barely there look is good in my book. This means I don’t have to use a full-coverage foundation and concealer when doing my makeup this summer. I can just apply my HG tinted moisturizer for a clean, polished look.

I complete my look with the Boots No7 Shine & Tint gloss in ‘Seduce’, which is a gorgeous fuchsia, and then apply the Boots No7 Lash Impact Mascara.  Let me tell you, for a drugstore mascara, this Boots No7 Lash Impact Mascara runs neck and neck with my HG mascara. It applies smoothly without any clumping.  The volume it gives my lashes – insane!

I’ve shared how I get my skin summer ready with Boots No7 skincare products.  I’d love to hear the things you do to prepare your skin for summer.

I will say YUMMY to that lip color. I haven’t tried Boots yet. I think I saw a facial wipe by them and will need to give it a go.

  • I love bright lips in the summer. I’ve seen Boots No7 at Target, but I haven’t tried it out yet.

I used to buy Boots skincare all the time when I visited London for work years ago. They had so many different skincare lines, each beautifully 7 differently packaged. Unfortunately, since they came to the US at Target, I haven’t been feeling them. But if the dark circle remover worked for you, I should check it out! And the opaque, fuchsia gloss is a gorgeous shade đŸ™‚

  • Love the lipgloss color. Is the mascara good for those who wear contacts?

  • That dark circle corrector applicator looks cool! I’ve not noticed if I have dark circles yet….I’m sure I do. Next time I’m at Target I’ll give all of these a look-see!

  • I remember loving Boots products when I lived in Europe, they have some really great skin care.
