Sunday, December 7, 2014 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Good Eggs Brooklyn foodhub space at 365 Ten Eyck Street, Brooklyn, NY 11222

Over on 71ateChef.com, my sister wrote up a review about Good Eggs New York City, and she’ll soon post a recipe using some food items she picked up from their website.  “What is Good Eggs?” you ask?  Good Eggs is an amazing company that is the perfect marriage between a farmer’s market and online grocery store that delivers fresh local produce and baked goods 7 days a week!

Big thanks to Summer, both my sister and I had the opportunity to visit the Good Eggs location in Brooklyn, NY.  We got to sit down and have lunch, which was cooked on site, with the staff, and we had a tour of the facilities.  First, besides selling fresh, local produce, I can see why the company is called ‘Good Eggs’ – all of their employees are super nice! How amazing is it that the staff receives a fresh cooked meal for lunch every day? I wish I had that.  Plus, the food was good!  We’ll be in attendance with our kiddies for their Family Fun Day this Sunday, December 7, 2014 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Good Eggs Brooklyn foodhub space at 365 Ten Eyck Street, Brooklyn, NY 11222 (near Morgan Ave in Bushwick).

During the Good Eggs Family Fun Day children will have the opportunity to have their faces painted,    participate in holiday crafts like create min Christmas wreathes. There will also be milk and cookies (dairy-free options also) for the kids to enjoy as well.  Urban Asanas will provide 15-minute yoga sessions.  Soapwalla will provide a natural beauty bar.  There will also be festive cocktails, a ton of awesome raffle prizes, and more.  So make sure you, your family and friends come out to participate in the fun! Did I mention that it is FREE!  I hope to see you there.
