Spread the love

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the ultimate Christmas advent calendar. If you love Christmas so much that you can’t resist even a half-way decent Christmas movie, you have to try out this Countdown to Christmas movie challenge. Unlike other advent calendars, which end on 24, this list gives you 25 Christmas movies to watch. That means you can either start a day early or watch a movie on Christmas day. It really depends on your family and how much you enjoy talking to them. Now, this is not your traditional top 25 Christmas movies list. There are some genuinely great movies on there. I think I might be criminally prosecuted if I left any of them off. However, this is a challenge. That means there are some curveballs in there. Some TV specials and some movies you don’t necessarily consider in the pantheon of Christmas movies (but they are!).

Countdown to Christmas Movie Challenge

This printable movie list is a true challenge that only the biggest Christmas fans can undertake. You will have to seek these movies out. They aren’t necessarily difficult to find, but you do have to find them. One place you can get a head start is on Disney Plus (but you didn’t hear that from me). The fun and the challenge of completing this list of movies by Christmas is in finding them wherever you can. You may own some. You may have to search several streamers in order to find some of the titles. It’s like every other advent calendar where you have to look around for the number each day.

Two Ways to Play

This challenge is fun whichever way you play. You can either start watching any movie on the list and keep going based on what you find, or you can take the more challenging approach and watch each of these movies in order. If you do it that way, it will start out hard and start to get a lot easier once you get to the last ten movies or so.
