I am so excited to share with you that my mini and I attended our first ever The Toy Insider’s Sweet Suite event. This is known as the biggest night of play, and that it was. Both my mini-me and I enjoyed seeing some of our favorite toy brands and fellow bloggers while being able to play with the hottest toys of the season. There were so many great toys from educational to games for family game nights. It is hard to choose and list our favorites, but I have left it up to my 7-year-old daughter to share her top picks.
In no particular order, here are my daughter’s top toy picks for a 7-year-old girl from The Toy Insider’s Sweet Suite.
My mini-me could not stop talking about Boxy Girls, especially since each doll comes with 4 blind boxes because these girls are like me, they love to shop online. Each Boxy Girl comes with 4 shipping boxes that reveal an accessory for the dolls that can be interchanged between each Boxy Girl. During the show, my daughter had to have Nomi. She’s cute and she kind of looks like her.

While at Sweet Suite she visited their booth at least three times. I can see why she loves the dolls, they have beautiful colorful hair, fashionable like her, and come in a variety of shade ranges.

She loved the Calico Critters Town Series which features a department store, tram, restaurant and more. As a lover of dollhouses, this one of her favorites. I’m afraid her father and I are in trouble come Christmas time.
KidKraft Grand Gourmet Kitchen
Mini-me already owns the KidKraft Uptown Espresso Play kitchen, but when she saw their latest Grand Gourmet Kitchen, she sheepishly asked “Mommy, can I have this.” You should have seen my face, well, my eyes because they got big strictly from disbelief. She just received the one she has for Christmas. I know what is going to end up on her list this year.
Disney Princess Dollhouse Pop Up Palace Playset
The Hasbro booth was another booth I could not pull my daughter away from. She was obsessed with the Disney Princess Dollhouse Pop Up Palace Playset. Say that 10x’s fast. This palace, at 2′ tall is half her height and is the perfect place for her dolls to live a life of princess luxury. It features a shell-shaped bathtub, rose detailed table and chair, royal lounge seat and more.

Whew! That was a lot! There definitely could have been a lot more on the list because The Toy Insider’s Sweet Suite was full of amazing toys from your favorite brands like WowWee, Lego, Mattel Fisher-Price, Highlights and more, but I will save them for another post, especially since we saw a lot of educational toys and items that would be helpful for the upcoming school season.
