Working for a non-profit organization that teaches students about the importance of healthy eating in New York City public schools, I’m always looking for new ways to make my cooking labs a bit more fun, interactive and consistent every time. Verizon Wireless has a ton of mobile devices, like the Moto Z and smart accessories like the Moto Insta-Share Projector that are suitable for a variety of individuals, including chefs and foodies like myself.

I was so I was excited to use Moto Insta-Share Projector when I received it. It turns any flat surfaces into a large viewing screen for photo or video sharing or to watch the big game with the Motorola Projector Moto Mod™. Using it is easy. Simply snap the Motorola Projector Mod on to your Moto Z Droid or Moto Z Force Droid and you’re ready to show your favorite content.

I first tried out the device at home with my 2.5-year-old. All I can say he was wowed and so was I. If I can keep a toddler engaged, I’m pretty sure I can keep students, ages 4 years to 11 years old interested in my lesson.

I was bit skeptical that such a small device could be as powerful as a your standard commercial or home use projector. There was no lagging, the image was crystal clear in the dark and was visible with the light on as well.

This was a major concern for me because at one of the Brooklyn area schools in which I teach, I conduct my classes in the cafeteria. This means I have no way to control the lighting (it’s in a 100+ year old building). I set up the Moto Z with the Moto Insta-share projector attachment anyway and hoped for the best. Fortunately, it still worked!

I had to find an area dim enough for it showcase my hummus recipe complete with photos and facts. The students loved it. It broke up the monotony of me writing on a small dry erase board that they were used to seeing me use for the past year and a half. I even got to show a cool video on beans (or as cool as a bean video can be).

A speaker attached via blue tooth would’ve been perfect to amplify the sound, and enhance the viewing experience.

Overall, the Motoz coupled with the Moto Insta-share Projector was beyond impressive. This is a hard pill to swallow coming from an apple user. I love these devices so much so that I want to give up my iPhone and get both the Motoz and Insta-share Projector. I can foresee my lessons becoming more fun, and keeping my toddler busy and entertained while I plan my food labs.

FYI: The Moto Z with Moto InstaShare Projector would make the perfect gift not only for the holiday, but for a birthday, and remember, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day are quickly approaching .:hint hint:.
