Print out these two sheets filled with 25 great Elf on the Shelf ideas and some notes from the elf to use throughout the month of December. Now, this game of putting the elf in the middle of various acts can be changed to entertain different children of different age ranges. Although the elf is not supposed to be naughty it is more entertaining to have him do “naughty” things, such as putting his hand in the cookie jar, or drawing funny faces on a family portrait. These things don’t point to the straight-laced persona the Elf is meant to portray. However, older kids who don’t take it all too seriously, enjoy it.
