Lots of reasons can surface for upgrading the car you drive. A change in lifestyle, a growing family, or even the desire to clean up your carbon footprint and save money on your monthly gas budget. For families like mine high fuel efficiency is coveted but not always the truly affordable option. Getting the best functionality and style coupled with better MPG and affordability may seem impossible, but doing the impossible is exactly what Toyota has been up to. Their focus has been creating the ultimate family car that families can afford to buy. The key to all of this is low-cost hybrid driving which we get with the newest Venza and Highlander models.

Functionality & Cost-Efficiency For Families

It’s no secret that hybrid driving is a boon for the environment and for the financially savvy. Toyota has been on the frontlines in hybrid technology, delivering the most affordable and consistently improving MPG on the market. Whether you concern yourself with green living, or just like making fewer stops at the gas station fuel efficiency is one of the best features a family car can acquire. Toyota has two family cars that are ideal for hybrid driving. Between the two Toyota hybrids, the competition is fierce, but only you can decide which family car belongs in your driveway.

Toyota Venza Vs Highlander for Best Family Car

The back-by-popular-demand Toyota Venza makes a very nice family car, though some will say it gets beat by the functionality of the Highlander.

It’s true, the Highlander, which I have reviewed here, gets an extra row and some additional features, but both cars prioritize safety first, while the Venza takes the lead in style.

If you have a larger family, there is no doubt, the Highlander is for you. However, if you have one child, or maybe two older children, you should take the Venza into strong consideration. Whichever you choose, you can know with confidence you’re getting an excellent hybrid vehicle. They both are practical, attractive, and perform well for modern moms like me.

Starting Your Impossible

Toyota wants you to recognize nothing is out of the question and inspire you to start your impossible now. It may seem impossible to achieve 40 MPG on an SUV, but Toyota did it with the Venza.

Toyota’s mission drives it every day to do what others consider impossible. They take that inward inspiration and compound it with inspiring partnerships with athletes in the Olympics and Paralympics. If you really want to get inspired, read Alana Nichols‘s story. She’s a mom and a paralympic athlete who does the impossible every day without the use of her legs.

Choosing the right car takes time and consideration. Besides practicality, think about what you really want to accomplish and how your car is going to get you there. It’s not just about the distance you drive. It’s about measured goals and achieving what you never thought you could. Sometimes it just takes the right vehicle to get you there.
