Our family enjoys seeing a good family movie together. My daughter (Chloe’s World of Play), after seeing previews, which she said are hilarious, was excited to attend an advance screening of Playing with Fire starring her favorite wrestler/actor, John Cena, along with Keegan-Michael Key, John Leguizamo and more.

The best part of seeing Playing with Fire in advance is that she along with other kid influencers had a chance to interview some of the cast. They all enjoyed the movie, and their enjoyment showed in the questions asked to the movie cast during the interview.

The kids asked some tough questions to the cast in attendance, which included Christian Convery, Keegan-Michael Key, John Cena, Finley Rose Slater, and Director Andy Fickman. Questions that would help us understand why the movie was created, past experiences that helped the actors play their role well, which scene was the hardest to make, and more! These kids were on point!

Can you imagine? Yes, she kept her composure. Kid reporter Chloes World of Play Playing with Fire

In Playing with Fire, there is a scene where John Cena’s character, Jake Carson, is trying to discipline Brianna Hildebrand’s character, but Keegan-Michael Key’s character could not keep his composure because the teen was being rude. This one take, according to John Cena, took about eight minutes because he kept laughing at Keegan-Michael.

John Cena: And, I was supposed to just stand there like I was being a parent and she was being scolded. And he’s incredibly funny. So, he made me laugh so many, so many, so many times. So, it wasn’t like oh, this is hard work. But it was impossible for me to keep a straight face, which was most of the time when he was doing his thing and I had to stand there and look like I was important and tough. So, that was…that was difficult.

About Playing with Fire Movie

When straight-laced fire superintendent Jake Carson (John Cena) and his elite team of expert firefighters (Keegan-Michael Key, John Leguizamo, and Tyler Mane) come to the rescue of three siblings (Brianna Hildebrand, Christian Convery, and Finley Rose Slater) in the path of an encroaching wildfire, they quickly realize that no amount of training could prepare them for their most challenging job yet – babysitters. Unable to locate the children’s parents, the firefighters have their lives, jobs and even their fire depot turned
