- Check your car seat’s expiration date; the life of a car seat is from six to eight years. Replace it if it has expired.
- Replace your car seat after a collision.
- Children love to ride in the front passenger seat as they get older, but it is best for them to sit in the back until age 12.
- Lead by example and wear your safety belt. If your kids see that you are, they will wear one too.
