Cayden slept through much of his first birthday bash, so it was awesome to recreate that moment with Bounty paper towels at the “Messy But Memorable First Birthday Bash” Bounty Event.
The “Messy But Memorable First Birthday Bash” event was a collaborative effort between mother, designer and New York Times Bestselling author, Kristin Cavallari, and Bounty to share some fuss-free ways to clean up those inevitable messes parents experience when raising growing children.
What I thought to be a disaster because Cayden fell asleep during our ride to the event, turned into an awesome, fun filled experience for him.
At the event, Cayden and I decorated our very own smash cakes, and of course it came out perfectly because he’s the son of a chef. Can you imagine smash cakes in a room full of kids? Let’s just thank God that Bounty products were in abundance, which helped us all clean up any messes quickly, thus allowing us to focus and enjoy the event, and let Cayden relive his first birthday that he missed.
Next we got messier making our “mommy & me” finger painting. At home, we haven’t used paints because I’m scared that he will create a mural on our walls. Maybe now, I’ll be a little more inclined to whip out the paint and brushes.
Being a mom to a two-year-old means watching many important milestones occur in his life. Also, they hone in on their creative side and they love enjoy making art and the process of creating it. With this newfound creativity, they have gained an unmatched sense of independence. With independence becomes a well-known fact amongst moms and dads that pretty much any activity can get quite messy.
Bounty is there to clean up the messes so I can enjoy these memorable moments as stress-free as possible. Bounty is a 2x more absorbent vs. the leading ordinary brand, which means the roll can last longer so you don’t need to use as much to tackle the food splats, water spills and messy fingerprints.
I love being in the kitchen and what I cherish most is the moments where Cayden always wants to help mommy. Now, it may take me a little longer to complete making a snack or putting the finishing touches on a meal but at least I know my clean-up will be a breeze.
