These days, families all over are missing face-to-face interaction with their loved ones. Everyone’s trying to keep themselves and their families safe through social distancing. Families just like ours aren’t visiting each other right now in fear of putting loved ones at risk. I recently had a baby, and most members of our family haven’t visited to see our new baby in person. Doctors and nurses are self-quarantining themselves from their loved ones as well in an effort to not expose them as well. However, we are thankfully living in an age where technology is amazing! With the help of Hubble Connected, families and friends can stay connected while keeping their social distance.

What is Hubble Connected?
Hubble is a user-friendly mobile app and smart platform that can be used with video monitors like the Motorola Peekaboo. The camera, when combined with the apps smart platform gives users access to surveillance with topnotch security features.
What I love about the Motorola Peekaboo and Hubble Connected
Soothing lights and sounds – the Peekaboo has a light at the bottom that switches between seven colors. In addition to that, I like that I am able to play soothing sounds, lullaby’s, or even a nighttime store through the camera via the Hubble app.
Full and clear views – The camera is small, yet mighty. The small camera can give you a full 360° view of the room via the Hubble app Full HD clear & crisp images even during the night.
Room Temperature – Lets you know the temperature of the room where it’s located. I know if the baby’s nursery is too warm or cold.
Secure Remote Access – These days with weirdos hacking into baby monitors, parents like me are rightfully worried about using Wi-Fi-based cameras. The Peekaboo camera and Hubble app allow you to securely access your camera remotely with a user-generated username and password only. Another good thing is that the camera will not work on an open network without a WSK security key. You have to be on an encrypted network for the camera to work and you must have a password on your router.
Protect You & Your Baby’s Privacy – Via the Hubble app, the Peekaboo can easily be placed in ‘privacy mode’. The camera will pan 180° to hide the camera lens, offering you and your baby privacy when needed.
Easy to Set Up and Easy to Use – The camera was so easy to setup. Just take it out of the box and plug it in! Using it with the app is easy as well. Just make sure you have your Wi-Fi router password available because you will need it. It took me at least 5 minutes or less. Plus, the step-by-step instructions provided and prompts on the app make it even easier.
How Can Hubble Connected Keep Families Together During Quarantine?
Quarantine-living during this pandemic means we are spending less time with our loved ones. They are potentially missing out on special occasions, life events like births, and more. Hubble Connected, along with any Motorola smart video monitors can help keep you and your family connected through secure access to a stream of full color, live video, and sound of your family.
I’ve currently set up the Motorola Peekaboo in the baby’s nursery. Since I’m back working from home and helping my oldest daughter with her schoolwork, the Peekaboo and Hubble app allows me to keep watch on my baby while she’s napping in her crib. I can multi-task without worry because the app will alert me to any noise or movements. Plus, what most monitors lack is clear, vivid video, which the Peekaboo and views from the Hubble Connected app excel.
If I ever want to share a video feed of the baby while she’s in her nursery with my family, I can easily do it from the app. I can even have a loved one read her a bedtime story.
