If you are a die-hard fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe like I am, you need no introduction to the 2019 Hyundai Veloster. It appeared in the 2018 sequel, Ant-Man & the Wasp in a high speed, thrill riding chase. Unlike most sports cars in its class, the Veloster boasts three doors, making it easier to cruise around the city with friends. The driver doesn’t have to be interrupted to let someone in or out of the car.

The 2019 Hyundai Veloster’s hatchback is just… unique.

What’s Inside

Once you get inside, you’ll find everything you need in a vehicle with great styling, an engine that has a kick, seating for five and a useful hatch.

Available features include a head-up display; helping the driver to keep his or her eyes on the road, pedestrian detection, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control.

The 7-inch touchscreen is bright, modern, and clear, with sensible controls that are slightly angled towards the driver. Apple CarPlay is a big plus for me. This innovation integrates the features of your iPhone® and select apps with the touchscreen of the Veloster. There’s also a charging pad, which means no plugging in your phone with a cord, two USB ports, Bluetooth, and a six-speaker audio system.

A bit of colored accenting through the interior gives things a sporty vibe. As with the exterior, the Veloster is designed and geared towards the younger generation.

Storage

Heading on a road trip with friends or family, or moving into your college dorm for the semester? The 19.9 cubic foot trunk of the Veloster can easily fit three carry-on sized suitcases. Hauling more than luggage? The 60/40 split backseat makes it easier to pull around those larger/longer items.

The Veloster holds 3 carry-on suitcases in the trunk and bit more!

Forward collision warning & automatic emergency braking are great for preventing an accident for distracted 20 somethings, and during high traffic times, especially when driving in the city where anything from a pedestrian or yellow taxi can interrupt your driving.

If you are in your mid to late 20s, looking for a sporty vehicle that stands out like no other, with an MSRP of $18,000, and impressive infotainment features, the Hyundai Veloster is worth taking a look at.
