Tommee Tippee is not new to our household. Remember the Pump & Go System that I introduced you to? If not, you can read about it here.

Last year, I introduced our readers to the Tommee Tippee Pump and Go system. It is great for busy breastfeeding moms on the go. Now that I have another little one in our household who prefers the bottle over the breast, I thought it would be great to try this system out because once the weather gets better and I go back to work, we will definitely be on the go a lot more.

PROS

By using one single sterilized pouch you can pump, store, warm milk to the perfect temperature and feed your little one! The Pump and Go system works with most breast pumps by offering different attachments, and eliminates the need to wash and store pumping bottles (no sterilizing bottles and less dishes!). The warmer heats milk gently to preserve nutrients and vitamins and the pouch basket, helps water circulate to warm milk evenly. Also, the intelligent warmer with 3 simple settings for more accurate temperature control. The adapter set fits with my Medela pump and fits with other popular pump brands.

CONS

I haven’t pumped into the bags yet because I didn’t want to waste them on 2-3ounces of milk. Because of this, I wanted to be able to pump directly into the closer to nature feeding bottle that comes with the system. Unfortunately, it did not come with at least one Closer to Nature standard breast pump adapter. I had to go out and purchase the adapter after I received the system. The adapter also does not fit the ultra bottles that I absolutely love because of the offset nipple for a milk flow that helps reduce the amount of air your child takes in. Lastly, although the intelligent warmer allows you to warm milk based on the amount of fluid, temperature and vessel you are trying to warm, it takes really long to heat. Especially at 3 am and your baby wants their milk NOW.

The Tommee Tippee Pump and Go system retails for $99.99 and is currently available for $74.99 at Babies R Us.
