Disclosure: Firmoo provided a voucher to receive a free pair of glasses for review purposes. All opinions are my own and are honest.

I swear God must always listen to my needs.  I’ve been putting off getting a new pair of
glasses for the longest.  Why? I needed
someone to come with me when I tried them on, and I honestly didn’t have the
time in my schedule to make it to my regular optometrist’s office.  When Firmoo contacted me to receive of a pair
of their prescription glasses, I obliged.

I chose a cute pair of black plastic, cat eye frames with
designs on the arm.  Yes, I know that I
already own a pair of black frames, but these were different.  The cat eye and the designs made it different,
okay!
Firmoo’s website is easy to use, and they have a number of
frames to choose from, including plastic, metal, semi-rimless, mixed material
frames, and more.  And remember when I
said I didn’t have anyone to come with me when I tried on potential new frames?
Well, Firmoo makes that easy. You can [virtually] see whether a frame fits your
face by uploading a photo, and “trying” on the frame.  I did that for several pairs until I settled
on the cat eye frames in C1 ($36), which is no longer available in that color.
Although I did have some trouble placing my order using the
voucher code that was provided, a staff member from Firmoo provided assistance,
and ordered the frames for me.  All I had
to do was send over my prescription.  I received
my Firmoo glasses within two weeks, which arrived in a hard case, with a soft
case, lens cleaning cloth, and a glasses tool kit, which was nice.

The frames, although they look cute, I still need to take
them to my optometrist to have them adjusted. The arms are a little too tight,
and I get a little dizzy from wearing them. Also, my prescription equals thick
lenses, I’m sure Firmoo tried their best in making sure the lenses fit well
into the frame whilst maintaining an affordable price; however, I did notice
that compared to the glasses I currently own, the lenses thickness is
noticeable.

Would I recommend
Firmoo?
Besides still having to trek to the optometrist in order to have these glasses adjusted, I do not think that the affordability of Firmoo.com and the stylish frames they offer can be beat.  I have recommended Firmoo to my mom because I know she was
looking for affordable frames.  If you’re
like her, and are on a budget, and need stylish prescription glasses, I’d suggest checking
out Firmoo.
