As I was going through my email this morning, I came across one from Parenting Weekly, Preparing your body for labor.  They gave a few helpful tips. Some I’ve done before like kegels and the cat pose.  I have yet to squat, even though a week or so ago I did show my husband I can still get low .:lol:.

During the final months of pregnancy, doing a few simple exercises may help prepare your body for labor. Below are some easy moves:

1. Squat down occasionally to help open your pelvic cavity and to give your baby more room to descend.

2. Perform Kegel exercises, which tighten the pelvic floor between your hips.

3. Stretch your back by leaning on a door jamb with arms extended to gently elongate your muscles and keep them flexible.
